We have following ideas to work on, that we are looking at 3 Ph.D students as interns(for 2-3 years ) to be part of. Your Ph.D guide should be open to come to our facility for technical discussion, if needed.

  • High speed , multi-core/caching aware kernel scheduler for transactional processors, in a cloud scale cluster(Patent Pending).
  • Multipath, message level, TCP stack with application controlled error recovery for bulk data transfer across LFN network, with shared congestion state(Patent Pending).
  • FCOE/iSCSI to AoE gateway (Patent Pending).

The results of your work may end up as part of the next versions of Linux kernel. These projects are meant for those researchers who want to solve "useful" problems as part of their Ph.D.

We will also consider brilliant C programmers, having at least 3+ years of exp. in Linux/Unix/C work, to these projects.

Your Guide : Peter Chacko, Founder NetDiox computing systems.

Project location : Our facility in Bangalore.

Project funding : Half of the project cost has to be borne by your University/college.

Intellectual property : IP will be co-owned by us and your institution.

We want to work with ONLY those researchers who are researchers by basic attitude.
